We're in Florida looking at plans on healthcare.gov, and Sunshine Health has some of the best options for price and coverage, I have never dealt with them, so I gotta ask, are they the usual hassle or a nightmare to work with?

Hmm, I think they're the same as the rest, like you're really gonna hear mixed opinions from people. Prices look great on paper, but getting stuff approved or talking to someone who actually helps can be such a hassle. Isn't that pretty universal among them though?

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured, the paper looks great, but reality hits different. I'll probably dig into reviews more, have you or anyone you know actually filed claims with them?

Just chiming in.. I heard from a colleague about a person who had a hard time processing her claims.
I could no longer recall all the details but she said it took that person multiple calls to get things moving.
I don't know how common it is but I also don't think it's an isolated case when dealing with health coverage in general.
Maybe try comparing it with the other plans you see and check how much you're willing to pay and the coverage that's acceptable for you for the hassle you might get.
These things would really require us to be persistent and advocate for ourselves until things get sorted out!

Totally get it, health coverage can be a pain. Figuring out the different plans and staying on top of things with follow-ups is what you gotta do to get it all squared away
