For the first time in my life, I signed up for health insurance through my job for me and my wife. I've always skipped it because we were living on just my $60k income while she finished school and raised 3 kids. She finally started working in february(huge relief 😅), so we can finally afford coverage. Our monthly premium is $650 for a family of 5 with a low deductible, just curious, does that sound about right to you all?

That's a huge step, congratulations!
That monthly premium actually sounds quite reasonable.
Employer-sponsored plans are generally more affordable than marketplace plans, and for a family of five, especially with a low deductible, premiums can easily be significantly higher, often well over $1000 or even $1500 a month on average.
So, $650 for that kind of coverage is likely a pretty good deal!

When my wife returned to work after our twins turned four, we finally decided to invest in real insurance. Before that, every little sniffle was a bit of a risk. Our first family plan set us back around $720 a month with a moderate deductible, and we felt pretty lucky. But $650 with a lower deductible? That definitely sounds like a great find, especially with three kids to look after
